I am a woman in process. I’m just trying like
everybody else. I try to take every conflict, every experience and learn from it. Life is never dull.

1. Oprah Winfrey – Entertainer (see citation below)

As long as we’re on this planet, we will always be a work in progress. Life is all about progress, change, and the experiences we go through. These experiences are results of our own life lessons which is unique to us like our fingerprints are unique to who we are. These lessons come into our lives, based on the Law of Cause and Effect, due to the causes we’ve made (the actions resulting from our thoughts, actions, words, and intent). Some of these lessons come back to us when we try to ignore or refuse to learn from them by allowing ourselves to wallow in the challenges it brings and/or become a victim to the circumstances/people related to the lesson.

The important point to remember is that everything happens for a reason. I, myself, sometimes struggle with my life lessons. There are times when I sit comfortably on the sofa watching Netflix to avoid the issues that I need to take of care of and face. There are times when I will cry and feel sorry myself, other times I just feel hopeless and defeated. What saves me from total breakdown is remembering my past and take inventory of the previous life experiences as well as the lessons I’ve learned. What helps tremendously is prayer and meditation. Just like an athlete works out to strengthen and prepare their bodies for an event, I spiritually work out daily to strengthen my spirit, to be optimistic towards any challenge that may come my way. The work out consists of prayer, meditation, reading anything which can nourish our spirit in a positive and inspirational way. I have a 7-Day Spirit Booster which I constantly go through when faced with heavy and intense challenges. (click here to check it out)

Remember the strength and the ability to overcome any challenge are inherently within us, it’s up to us to allow ourselves to bring it out and demonstrate this quality. Smiling helps, so today, this week, every day, put on that million-dollar smile even at the worst moment and watch the superhero that we all are manifest outwardly.

“You will always harvest what you plant.” – – Galatians 6:7

Stay blessed,
arlyn
